The Writers' Company were lucky enough to have James teach a day workshop for us and (full disclosure) he's on my (Petra's) panel for my PhD. So I can tell you that James is one of the most knowledgeable, and nicest, nature writers you'll ever meet. His book - The Oak Papers - is definitely worth buying :)
